Selos Rd. Fire 8/22/12

Selos-Rd-FireThe Carthage Fire Department arrived at this house fire on Selos Road, Carthage a little before 3 p.m. Wednesday August 22. No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. The family cat had not been located.

Crews say the house and all of its contents were a total loss, leaving two residents homeless.

The Carthage Fire Chief says that road construction on a nearby bridge made extinguishing efforts slightly more challenging.
